The Role
As a (Associate) Developer (f/m/d) within the CLM Application Management Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will work with the latest technology to develop microservices. You will be handling the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.


At the CLM Application Management Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based solution to operate the SAP cloud, with a set of cloud native microservices using the latest technology. To strengthen our team further and accommodate SAP’s growth in the cloud, we are looking for a (Associate) Developer (f/m/d) to join our Team.
We do Flexible work with a mix of onsite and remote work.

In your role as (Associate) Developer (f/m/d), you will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:
Design and develop appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology.
Optimize and simplify existing processes and code. Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations. Develop UIs and APIs in a model-driven way.
Master the “full stack” from UI over backend to database.


What you bring

  • Object-Oriented Programing Experience
  • Programming skills in object-oriented ABAP
  • Good knowledge of design patterns
  • Knowledge of RAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of Fiori/Fiori Elements is a plus
  • SQL and/or HTML5 and/or JavaScript experience is a plus
  • Experience in test-driven development as well as model-driven development is a plus
  • Good Analytical skills and excellent customer focus
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Expertise in agile development/SCRUM is a plus
